Christmas for Uganda

This year, the Missions & Evangelism Board invites you to participate in a novel Christmas missions project — please dig down in your hearts and into your wallets to shower our secondary students in Uganda with the love of Jesus! At this special time of year, when we look forward to rejoicing in the incarnation of our Savior Jesus Christ, what better way to prepare our hearts for Christmas than to reach out in Christ’s love to those in need?

Here are the basic details of how you can be involved:

WHAT DO I DO?

1. Look for the Christmas tree display at the back of the sanctuary.
2. Select an ornament from the tree (or more than one!),
3. Write a Bible verse or note on the back of the nametag ornament and sign your name.
4. Place cash or your check payable to ILC in any amount ($30 p/ornament is the suggested donation) and leave these items in the available basket.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT WAY I CAN BE INVOLVED? The most vital part of the project is for you to PRAY!!!! Please pray for these secondary students and their families — pray that the Lord will bless them in all aspects of their lives. Keep these children of God in your prayers as we all continue to develop closer relationships with them.

If you should have any questions or comments about this new Christmas missions project, please direct them to any Missions Board member (Dominic Cinquepalmi, Christofer Stubblefield, Mistie Luchtel, Balie White, or Kris Ludwinski).

We are very grateful in advance for your support and enthusiasm for this wonderful endeavor! God bless you during this memorable season.

Blessings in Christ, The Board of Missions & Evangelism
