Please join us for the Divine Service every Sunday at 8:00 am. Holy Communion will be observed.
As you prepare to worship:
Our risen Lord invites us to hear his word and to be renewed by his promises. Christ himself promises to be present among us to bring about this renewal. In worship he comes to us to forgive our sins, remind us that we are his people, and strengthen us to serve as we go into the world. We praise our God for the opportunity to give thanks for all he gives us through worship focused on Christ and him crucified.
Holy Communion will be celebrated:
As a Family in Christ we care about all who commune with us. We are deeply concerned that all who come to the Lord’s Table do so for their benefit and renewal of faith in Christ. God says that we are to “examine ourselves” so that we receive Christ’s body and blood rightly and do not drink judgement on ourselves at the Lord’s Table. We take our responsibility in this regard very seriously. Communing with us indicates a oneness of belief with what we teach and confess. For these reasons, if you have not been instructed in the beliefs of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, we request that you talk to Pastor Ottmers about attending a class of instruction about the beliefs of our church before communing.
