Join us every Thursday starting at 10am. We enjoy our common interests of sewing, quilting, crocheting, etc. and we work on both church projects and our own individual projects. We have decided to dedicate one meeting each month to mission projects, working together to assemble quilt tops for Lutheran World Relief for starters. We have selected the second Thursday of each month for the group project, and we invite all women to join us!
Currently, we are working through our enormous supply of donated fabric, so people need only bring sewing machines, thread, and basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins, etc.). Even if you don’t know how to use a sewing machine, there is plenty of work for willing hands cutting fabric, clipping threads, and pressing. And there’s never a shortage of fellowship as we work, and as we enjoy a brown bag lunch together. We will continue to work on our own projects the remaining Thursdays and welcome all women of the church to join us.
